Following my previous "lawn launch" pic, this was the real thing. Some passerby attention is a given, but, today, a guy followed me 10 miles to the launch to look at the wood boat. I later had him shoot this photo.

My minicell seat, back and foot block felt good. I had figured I would be lowering the seat cut another 1/4 to 1/2 inch, but I liked the feel, and may leave it. I had not yet added any padding or foam block to the knee/thigh bad extensions, yet the feel was not bad, and I may not need pads especially if I d not lower the seat.

I didn't have the GPS, so can't say much on potential speed and efficiency. It took to a lean pretty well, and was not particularly squirrely in holding a straight line.

I have been feeling like my 230cm Camano has grown too long, but was waiting for this trial as a last reality check. Yep, time to order that 210-220 Epic I've been eye-balling.
