Yo Dan

Tom is really helpfull and worth contacting. I deliberated for way too long and finally settled on the Sea Raider. I am 6 ft and 220 lbs.

my 'folder' spends most of its time fully assembled and the pvc skin is a bit hard to make completely leak proof. I reckon a wood and sewn nylon skinned version would be a good option and a ply shell version maybe even better.

I have waxed lyrical about my sea raider in the Masik Yost in Paradise page 15:

and Yost in Stewart Island? ... more like Fiordland:

Not that information will help you much ;) .

My sea raider rolls nicely, but the aluminium frame flexes and initially absorbed alot of my roll energy so I thought it was hard to roll ... until I altered my roll technique for the better.

Cheers Pete
