Strip: Hull Protection - scratches

Fellas,
My North Star pride and joy is going the way of my Guillemot in that I'm using it so much I'm quickly scratching the hell out of the bottom of the hull - it's all stoney landings around here. Rob in his instructions mentions a witches brew - mixing graphite i think in with the epoxy to provide a slippery area that resists scratches. Anybody tried this or I was thinking maybe a bit of gelcoat or something. I put extra layers of glass on the guilly when it was in service but don't think that's the answer - it adds weight and gathers even more scratches. The Guilly still is hanging in the worshop awaiting refurbishment for almost a year now and daughter is eying it big time - I don't want the NS to suffer the same fate!
