Strip: Adirondack boat *LINK*

Posting a message I just asked Nick, for all of you to share in the information flow:
Hey Nick, greetings from BC, Canada

I just received the Guide boat plans, and the forms are in place.

As you might remember, I have done a number of kayaks (Toquenatch Creek Kayaks) and so I am familiar with the standard procedure.

However, I have a few questions:
1) Plan calls for "fairing the forms".
Am I correct to understand that this means: the forms' edges need to be tapered to receive the strips, and the plan drawings represent therefore the outermost edge of each station form?
2) The inner stem piece on the guide boat indicates a curved line on what will be the top of the boat. As I am preparing to install the sheer strip, (which I am making very thin, so it can do the extreme bend at the stem) I notice, that it is just about impossible to glue the strip against the inner stem in the standard way. Could the curved dashed line on the upper stem piece plan indicate that the strip are to run into the stem, rather then lie flat against the stem, as it is done in kayaks?
Do you have any info on your site on how to deal with this section?
3) I need to order the seats, the rowing hardware, and the book on this Adirondack boat.
Should I order these through you?

With much respect and admiration,

Jürgen Koppen
