I thought the stainless hooks with the CLC kit were lame. I've seen some nifty wood hooks on here that I didn't think I could duplicate. I went with oak dowels. I also added alignment buttons, and a cross brace with hole for attachment line. On the outside, only dual finger indents.

On the alignment buttons, I think strips along the edges would have been better, but these seemed good at the time. I used poster gum to guess and test button positions before marking for epoxy.
