Hey Kurt, not to hijack this thread, but the footbraces were embarassingly simple: Blocks of wood aligned on a temporary tape-covered guide. My next ones will be full 45 degree blocks (90 degree to the keel-line), not angled as theese were. The absence of metal to corrode is a real plus. Weight is not much different from Yakima.
