Et, I just checked the vid again at the 16 second mark to clarify whata rudder stroke was and yep thats what I do. Didn't know it had a special name.
Most will probably notice that surfing a long boat requires a pretty fat wave which means we can stay away from the surfers.

TIP: avoid landing at places with names like "Cylinders" or you will end up like me, smashed and washed up on beaches with names like "Deadmans Point"
