The panels of most S&G kayaks touch at the inside corners. It is difficult to keep alignment on the edges of two corners when tightening the wires so CLC suggests to round the inside corners a little so the alignment is on two radiused edges. Sometimes the bulkheads need to be moved a little forward or aft to allow the seams to meet without any gap between the bulkhead and the panels.
