The coaming is covered with gold glitter (it's laser glitter that reflects red and green sparkles of light) -- closeup shot of the coaming is below. The entire deck also has a very, very light application of gold laser glitter -- just enough that you can see it in direct sunlight but it disappears completely in the shade.

Also, the tips of the bow and stern have abalone inlays (from abalone that we found in the Broken Group last year).
