Thanks, Jim. I get that there's humor in your paddle jibe, but, I'm not sure whether it's because my telephoto lens made my Werner Camano look like a $39 rec paddle, or because it's a Euro paddle instead of a proper Greenland paddle.

Well, I haven't yet been bitten by the GP bug. My Camano has served well for 6 or 8 years, but, I've recently decided it's too long, at 230 cm. I've tried and am considering purchase of an Epic relaxed tour, signature hybrid, 215-225 cm.
