I recommend Ulf Johansson's blog. He is working on a new boat right now with cutaways, and if you go back through his older pages, you will see another build from last year which also has cutaways. Make sure to click on each post, as there are typically extra pictures inside the post.

I am still considering cutaways myself. My hull is finished and I haven't started on the deck. If I cutaway, it will be similar to Ulf's cutaway on the deck, but I may think about whether I should (or even can) cutaway any of the side of the hull. Just want to make sure the cutaway doesn't go below the waterline obviously. On my Kirton K1, the bottom edge of the cutaways go within 1 or 2" from the waterline.

: Has anybody incorporated cutaways on the deck of their boat/s to reduce width
