: I am starting on a Yost SOF Sea Ranger. I have built a strongback according
: to his plans, but it ended up with a pretty bad twist on it. Should I
: start over or will it be ok as long as I make sure the two forms attached
: to the strongback are level?

For what it's worth, my "strongback" was just 2 2x6 boards with some plates joining them together. After finishing my nikumi last week, I noticed my deck ridge and keel weren't exactly lined up. No biggee, the folks who've been building and paddling these boats for a 1000 years didn't have perfectly straight boats either.

The boat paddles well, even being a little "off".

I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you plan on taking a long time to finish the build and your strongback hasn't finished moving.
