Nice looking frame, Clayton. I will say, that is seriously beefy, though. Last one I did I took out every other deck beam and slightly increased the spacing on the ribs too. Makes for a much lighter boat, and for my purposes the Cunningham design method is way over-engineered.

I'm just starting Tom Yost's Nikumi baidarka design, and I still think it has too many stations at only 8. I'm considering taking a couple of those out and I'm definitely reducing the sizes of the gunwales and possibly the keel as well.

Good luck with your boat. The good part about it, either way, is you've built it so you can do whatever you like to modify it.
