Hi Kelly,

Yes, this is the way I cover SOF's, 3 ounce heat shrunk aircraft dacron covered with 4 ounce fiberglass. Gives a very strong skin that's still quite flexible and is fairly easy to apply. Weighs just about the same as other methods of covering.
