Never liked the plywood floors in Tom's method of construction. Very practical way to do it, but I just never liked the way it looked. I had this frame almost finished when I broke a frame at the cockpit (builder error). I decided this was time to fix a couple of other things I was not happy with while I was at it.

So, I remade the two frames at the ends of the cockpit and I notched them for strips instead of using plywood floors. Just finished lashing them in and I like the way they look much better. I think if I did use plywood again, I would notch the frames the same way and just screw and glue the plywood floors in place. Just never liked the looks of those bolts and the aluminum angle.
