Hi Steve,

Really should varnish either one, it's just that 207 has some UV resistance and 206 has none. 207's designed for clearcoating and 206 is structural.

Btw, either one will work fine if protected with a UV filtering varnish, I've used 206 extensively before I started on kayaks with excellent results under varnish, it's just not really clear.
