Hi All,

Thanks for all your comments. I tried bending some stock soaked in water + fabric softener & found no discernable difference to the failure rate compared to stock soaked in water alone.

Regards,

Phil.

: Hi Everyone,

: I read somewhere on the WWW that adding fabric softener to the water when
: soaking rib stock helps make the rib more pliable after steaming.

: Has anyone else heard of or use this ?

: I'm soaking some ribs now... some in straight water & some in
: water+fabric softener to see if I notice any difference.
