:have joined the hull and deck. I am curious as
: to the purpose of the hollow that is created in the hull starting at the
: bow and fading into a flat hull short of the cockpit area.

I am hooped to why there is a hollow in that simply curved central panel, heh heh - from what i see, it does not make sense other than some errors creeping in.

Take a 4"x8" pc of thin card, simply bend it in a gentle curve in both your hands, and see how you can pop up just the central area with your 2nd finger? this sort of thing might be happening in your case.

By any chance was the deck slightly wider than the hull when joining? Were the chines put in at a little tighter angle?
Probably not a big deal, and maybe pillars, foot weight or just usage will pop it back out. If it really bugs you, you could possible glass in a few 1/2" wide by 1/8" (on flat) ramped (so don't catch heels) ribs across the hollow to flatten out.

anyway, some thoughts.
