: I'm intending finishing off my kayak with a white hull - would it be better
: to use pigment during the epoxy progress, or paint it after it is
: finished?

: Would there be a significant weight difference if I added several coats of
: paint?

: thanks for any tips

Personally I wouldn't want to use pigment while I'm working with the glass, anything you add to the resin will make saturating the glass slower and more difficult, to me that's a bad idea. For the fill coats it wouldn't matter if it was colored. It'll still need paint as the resin even with the pigment isn't entirely UV resistant, so I'm not sure you gain anything by using the pigment.
