It is a big deal here in Texas (the lone star state) You can buy them at any hardware and even some grocery stores!! metal, wood, and even long horn hide..
I'm with you though, no reason I can think of for me to get one. Maybe all those in Maine are misplaced Texans?? See if the have a dog and a pickup to go with the star, then prolly Texan..
