Holy poop-deck, Tonyman...I did do that. WTF! How could I have done that? I actually do have some kayak pictures somewhere on Flickr, lemmie go find them. I am heading away for the weekend so I won't be near anything remotely like kayaks. Gonna test out the new car on very snowy highways and crappy weather. Haven't told my main squeeze that yet: she hates to be a passenger and she hates bad weather driving. I love driving in the worst weather I can find. Hee! Hee!

As far as getting my priorities in order goes, Ken Sutherland has invited me to do a three-day cross-country wilderness winter camping trip with him and two other guys. Get this: I have to drive for 16-hours to get to Winnipeg where it's much colder than Edmonton. I'm gonna stay over at Ken's for one night, then we leave the next day. We will ski for 5+ hrs to a cabin where we will indulge in all kinds of guy things like photography, cross-stich and embroidery, tea drinking, manicure, and of course, teh inevitable discussions about what color Angelique Jolie's latest maternity dress should have been. Once we tire of the fun stuff we're prolly gonna have to drink a Guinness or three plus some of the local micro-brewery stuff I plan on bringing along. It's gonna be a good opportunity for me to rediscover my inner man and come back home ready to clean house and polish the furniture. Once I get bored of that I'll try to make an effort to work on the Night Heron.
