I think you could use the stations a couple of different ways to aid in forming ribs.

One method would use the plywood stations as forms to define the gunwale/deck shape and locate the stringers, allowing you to bend ribs freehand to fit the hull shape. I could see the stations getting in the way, however, but this would be very similar to (and maybe a little more precise than) Brian's method of using Romex wire to mock-up a few ribs and locate stringers temporarily.

Another method would be using the plywood stations as a basis for jigs that allow you to bend ribs to an exact shape (or to get you in the right ballpark when bending ribs adjacent to a specific station). Ribs that fall between stations, especially in cases where you have longer station spans, may be different enough from each station that you have to bend them freehand anyway. If you already have the plywood stations cut out, this might not be a bad option, but I don't think I would spend the effort and material to cut out the stations just to make rib jigs unless you needed much more precision than is normally required or wish to make multiple exact copies of the same design (and even then, Brian among others clearly demonstrate that you can make many copies of the same design without such jigs).

: I was going to build a Yost but found the rib bending process fun and easy.
: What do you think about setting up forms with the Yost stations(since I
: already have them) and using them as a guide for the ribs?
