Just to be sure . . . this a a molded fiberglass kayak, right? The construction sounds typical, molded top and bottom sections, joined by tape and resin at the seam. You should be able to repair it with polyester resin and gelcoat, along with some fiberglass tape for the seam and the hole in the bow. The materials you need should all be available at a marine supply store. I'll let others get into the details of the repairs, but they do not sound difficult.
