I love my Redfish Seat, but for ultimate comfort I add a thermarest pillow to it in the following way:

1. place the thermarest pillow on the Redfish seat with the valve closed and sit into the boat. Get happy (footrests etc).

2. slightly open the valve and allow the pillow to deflate slowly until you are just a millimetre above the seat bottom.

3. Close valve.

Your lower physiognomy (watch that filter) becomes thus perfectly supported in all areas. The result is like sitting on a cloud and doesn't compromise low centre of gravity.

In addition to the above: I put two extra pieces of CS camp-mattrass inside. One between the footpegs to support my heals laterally so that they don't keep sliding into the middle of the boat and one to support my thighs against the topsides near the cockpit. (the photos in the link should make it clear).
