It's finally done. My first strip boat is complete. Last coat of varnish went on New Year's eve and I've got the rigging complete and planning a trip for the Fla Keys in a few weeks for the first launch.

I want to thank many of you who gave me guidance in my first build. It made it much easier when I knew I had a support system when I ran into questions. I will have to admit that at the end of the day, the minor mistakes really didn't matter much as the final result is georgeous. It's certainly not perfect and I can find flaws everywhere but when you stand 5 feet away, they all disappear.

I've attached a pic for your viewing pleasure. One departure from the kit was that I made the coaming from a carbon fiber layup using the instructions from One Ocean Kayak.
