: Brad's a great guy and has built many sailing kayaks, this being his most
: recent effort. Brad got his 10' amas from Attila at Custom Inflatables in
: West Virginia. They're duplicates of the inflatables I have used on my
: boats for many years and work like a charm. They're made from super
: durable, 32 oz. PVC impregnated polyester with Halkey-Roberts valves.

: I haven't seen this boat in action yet, but I suspect it cooks along with a
: defined degree of liveliness.

: Nice to see the boat posted here. Thanks

Chris I do remember seeing you in a boat with huge amases now that I think back a year or two ago. More then anyone you kept steering me in the right direction as I rigged my kayak for sailing. Especially the NACA 0012 foil rudder in place of the 009 I was going to use. The bottom line is I can sail 30 degrees into the wind which is almost unheard of I think. I'm using an early 1990 Hobbie sailboard main sail in place of a home made bat wing and a home made tarp jib so I don't want to mess around too much with a good thing. I copied the Balough stackable mast which I think is the light easy mast to have for kayaker and it's not expensive.
