Hello all,
While reading the October issue of SK magazine I noticed the hull of Epic Endurance 18 kayak has an unusual shape (see link)
Looking at the hull profile it appears the bulge in the bottom of the boat is in an unusual place: approximately 1/3 from the bow instead of the usual midship. In other words, the rocker lowest point is not in the center of the boat as usual but much further fore.
You can see it clearly in the line drawings (copied from the magazine for clear illustration)
I have never seen any other kayak shaped like this.
Since Epic has the reputation for building fastest standard-length sea kayaks out there, I wonder if they know something that nobody else does?
