Hmm, that is assuming I use the kayak for trips worthy of such blessing. I am building it primarily because I have friends who want to paddle with me but don't have a kayak. Addiction to building has nothing to do with anything...the meds I was given are working well. I initially wasn't thinking of adding some kind of storage but now you have me thinking. I suppose it wouldn't be proper not to ensure that I can stow a few tins of Guinness somewhere safe. I could also save the extra labour and just buy one of those hats with the built-in beer can holder complete with sip tube. Then again, that might cause my center of balance to shift too much with all that weight up there. I'd have to drink the beers to avoid the risk of imbalance and that would create a new problem.
