With building being a lot of "on and off" my Igdlorssuit project has been greatly delayed.
It has been allmost ready for some time, just needing the last filling and sanding, before leaving paint to a pro automotive painter.
Yesterday I went to a freinds house to help him get started on building his firste stripper, a Black Pearl. I brought along the iggy to show him a couple of details. When i drew up the Iggy, I modified it to have a very low backdeck, and when my freind saw the Iggy he said "are you sure it stays above the water".
Good thinking led to a pool test before committing to paint, so I put in the lids with ducttape? and took it to a pool at another freinds house to night.
It is excactly like I hoped and dreamt !! It is low, 1" above the water, just as predicted by the software, it is a little bit more "unstable" (lesser 1. stability) than my Guillemot, but not enough to make me uncomfortable, and it rolls like a (wet) dream.
Ill be in my workshop the next couple af days, finishing the last details, and then off to the paintshop!!
