I just posted on another builders forum that light weight in kayaks/canoes is a terribly overlooked and underestimated virtue. At 34 lbs -- a man after my own heart I tell ye -- that boat fairly flies for the effort put into it said the owner of a 35-lb Outer Island. Also, I understand the NH to be one of the few boats that actually performs better as a S&G version. Hybrids are my favorite biggest-bang-for-the-buck way to go, and I'd sure like to see that Moby system of yours. Thanks for the post, it looks GREAT, and is certainly a fine diversion from this land of never-ending nightmare.
