Registration for the 20th Annual Delmarva Paddlers Retreat, scheduled for 17-19 Oct 2008, is now open.

Special Guests inlcude:

Maligiaq Padilla. Winner the overall men's National Greenlandic Championship this year, 2008, for the 8th time.

John Pederson (not J. Peterson of Amphibious Man). John is a member os QAANNAT KATTUFFIAT (The Greenland Kayaing Association) and has been a long time competitor in the National Greenland Kaying Championships. John is known for his stroke technique and speed and has repeatedly placed well in the kayaking racing event, and also competes in rope gynastics.

Adam Hansen. Adam is a board member of Qajaq Aasiaat, a past participant in teh Greenland National Kayaing Championships, and kayaking guide for the Aasiaat Tourist Service. Adam is also very accomplished at rope gymnastics.

Harvey Golden. Harvey Golden of Portlnd Oregon is a renowned researcher of Arctic skin-boats and author. Golden has constructed over 60 kayaks having been built, representing over 25 types of these traditional watercraft, and is himself a former board member of Qajaq USA. We are pleased to have Harvey present at the 20th Annual Delmarva Paddler's Retreat. Harvey will present on "Arctic Kayak Diversity: Some theories behind the variations."
