Strip: Installing Thigh braces to coaming wall

I am building a Redfish "Spring Run" from a kit (my first strip boat) and purchased the thigh braces that attach to the inside of the coaming wall. The instructions provided did not address the install of these optional items but logic seems to point to the following sequence...
1. Glass deck & cut out for coaming wall install.
2. Install coaming wall / lip and glass to top and bottom of deck.
3. Epoxy thigh braces to inside of coaming wall and then glass over braces to create unit with coaming.

I would really appreciate some experienced builders advising the proper build sequence for installing before I do what I think logical since I'm a newbie..

Thanks,

Bob Beaullieu
