Hi all,

I've been thinking about building myself a surf kayak. I like the looks of Nick's Matunuck, but at 197 pounds, I'm at the top end of the paddler weight range. I'm also a bit heavy for the swallow-tailed Surfyak at surfyak.com. I know there have been some posts about surf kayaks, but my searches haven't found them.

I am thinking S&G for this one, but a stripper would be fine. Any suggestions?
