Tools: Boiling the Stapler

This is the second time I resurrected a misbehaving stapler by boiling it. My T-50 was shooting staples on an angle and occasionally a staple would not come out. I know it's dried wood glue in there that throws the internal firing mechanism out of whack. I boiled it at a rolling boil for 5 minutes or so and I also used a brush to clean the outside too. Then holding it with a towel, I fire it 12 or more times with the firing part under the hot water (off the stove). Unbelievable- it is like new again. I shoot in some WD 40 and you'll be surprised how much easier it works with a little lube as well.
