I am refinishing the top of my kayak, I had to sand the top completly down to bare wood. (damaged when the hatch cover popped off going down the road, it was tethered but caused a lot of dings & glass fractures. Anyways I still have enough4 0z. glass remaining to cover full length of boat, but the glass is about 6 years old. It has been on the original cardboard roll and wrapped in original paper. It looks great but I don't know if it will wet out good enough because of age? I heard something about sizing added to glass cloth for epoxy wetout. Does anyone know if will be ok to use the old cloth? or does the sizing go bad?
thanks, Ron
