I did some searching on the forum regarding Titebond II and noticed that many people use it. I was given a (partial) gallon jug from a friend and intended to use it on the Auk I'm getting ready to strip.

While scarfing up the sheer strips, I noticed that the glue dries with a strange orange color, not the more clear dry up of the other yellow wood glues I've used. Now I would swear I read somewhere that someone had coloring issues from it, but I can't put my finger on that page anymore.

Has anyone had a problem with the dry color of this glue showing through on the finished boat?

Thanks,
Dave
