Bill - I bet you're right - once the hull shape is settled the boat could probably be designed as a full stitch and glue. SOF is better for prototyping, obviously - I plan to do it as a full SOF with no ply on the tunnels - I'm thinking of 2 chines on the outside of the hulls, 1 inside. I'm still thinking hollow foam hulls down the line, maybe a foam stripper...

On a side note, can you recommend an epoxy for glueing the frame? I need one that will do the filleting on the bulkhead/frame connections that you mentioned earlier. I'll probably have to do some scarfing to make stringers long enough. I'm thinking I may start with the 16' version after all, too tired after paddling today to make up my mind....
