Hi Glen

I strongly suspect that your rollers are having a chemical reaction with your epoxy. Are you using roller covers supplied by the epoxy manufacturers? And are you throwing them away after use? (ie: Not cleaning them in some kind of solvent or other) hard to imagine, but you never know.

I've always used West rollers and they behave beautifully. On the other hand I aim for a thickish layer. Two filler coats maximum. After that if I touch the glass surface in a few places with the sander I don't worry about it. The varnish hides it just fine anyway.
