: I have seen someone on this site that has done that when applying varnish. I
: hang mine by a beam in my shop so I could rotate it and spray it on all
: sides. Don't see why the method can not be used in epoxy.

I was just thinking about doing this today. I'm about to epoxy my kayak and I have to do the top and the bottom.

So I had a friend who made custom made fishing rods and he had a slow running gear motor (10 rpm?) attached to his rollers that allowed him to roll his rods while the epoxy was curing.

So ticking over in my head was two engine stands with a gear motor attached to one that would rotate the kayak over and over while the epoxy cures. That way the epoxy doesn't settle or run in one spot.
