I have built two S&G CLC Chesapeakes and two CLC Shearwater Hybrids. Would now like to build one of Nick's all-strip kayaks. I love the look of the Night Heron, but don't want the 18' length. The Petrel looks really interesting, but I would like to learn more about it from the experience of others before I decide. Would Nick's book be all I'd need to advance to this more difficult fabrication? Any feedback would be appreciated.
