Thanks guys. It was both exciting and a big relief to finally get them wet. Anticipated they might be a little (or even a lot!) less stable than the Current Design Breezes that we're used to, with their 26"ish beam. Pleasantly surprised that this concern was unfounded, as Nick's Guillemots seem every bit as stable, and considerably faster and more agile.

I had milled and B/C'd some nice accent material for inlays. Even spent some time coming up with design(s) I actually sorta liked. But w/ my work schedule, it would have been winter before completion. Didn't want to miss out on this season. This way the accent material will have more time to season...

I have a several-mile-long and fairly straight canal not so far from my home. It has beckoned for someone to come row on it for as long as I can remember. If I can come up with a source for plans for a nice rowing shell/scull, that will likely be my next endeavor. Not likely to start until the new year. Not yet approached Nick on it, but if anyone out there has any ideas of where one might start looking for plans that can be purchased, I'm all ears.
