You have given me very really good advice in the past. Thanks for all your help. Suggesting a 12 NACA instead of a 9 NACA for my rudder I think made this boat respond very well and the Ronstan universal tiller joint is really nice, but took me three months to get it. Two companies had to back order it. I cancelled and found a third that had it in stock.

I understand the pitchpoled you mentioned. I drove my cat to the point that the lee hull submerged underwater to the trampoline and only by spilling the wind in time I averted a big problem. On my shake down on this kayak the AMAS tried to bury itself a couple of times. So yesterday I add a simple thumbscrew to the collar that fastens the mast to the AKA and now I can adjust the angle of attack of the AMAS from the cockpit. Carrying a knife is an excellent idea that hadn't crossed my mind.

So far I have built everything to breakdown to a length of five feet or less so it can be stored inside the boat while paddling and now I am thinking of making a roller reefing jib but don't know how to make 10 foot reefing spin tube that breaks down into two pieces. Any ideas? My tube will be maybe 1 inch in dia. Anyone.
