As always, I learn new things almost every time I read this forum.

Just for the record, I am well inland of the coast. So no surf or tides to deal with here. An occasional Cabin Cruiser or Barge Wake. And of course the unexpected thunderstorms but even so that just a short tight chop. 3' waves happen but it takes some strong winds, enough you wouldn't be out there on purpose.

Here is the study plans on this boat. I didn't define the shape of the deck in much detail, but I did nail down the height I wanted.
