Back in January I lost my job. To make matters worse I was forced to move my boat house off of the companies river front property and find a new location. Since the building was a joint venture with my neighbor he decided to buy out my half and move it to his house about 12 blocks away.

The building is 14 ft. wide x 20 ft. long x 10'-6" high with a gravel floor. In order to move it, we bolted in support crossbeams and angle braces to allow it to be carried on a gooseneck trailer.

Everything went smooth and we had it spotted at the new site in about three hours. The link has several more pictures of the move and the building at the old site.

Also, I started a new and better job on Wednesday working for the local DuPont plant. The really sad part is that the Ohio river is finally warm enough to paddle and I have to go to work. Next time I get fired I'll do it in late spring so that I can enjoy the time off.
