In Response To: S&G: patterns on plywood (Ryel)

Blacken the reverse, just where the lines are, then place and fix with some paper, trace on the lines, works like if you had carbon paper.

Ironing on the reverse of some plans sometimes leave a transfer on the wood, some inks dont transfer

: I'm ready to cut some plywood to put together a S&G but I am concerned about
: spraying glue onto the plywood. Will the glue (that holds the pattern
: down) seal the wood so that the epoxy will not soak in? Is it a better
: idea to trace the pattern shape onto the wood?
: What are your thoughts and experience?
: thanks
