Here is one thing to look out for:

If you have not faired the stations, they have a square edge which is perpendicular to the faces. When you staple the strip to the stations, you must not attempt to staple straight into the center of the station thickness. This will force the strips out of shape between the stations. You must staple at an angle so that each strip is contacting only one edge of each station. This will be the edge closest to the either the bow or the stern depending on where you are along the length of the boat.
