: I´m building kayaks, of course. And bakes my bread, and a lot of other
: things.

I saw the photograph on your sight! Looks yummie. Any similarities between baking bread and making boats?

: Most of the tv-programs are of no interest to me. I feel insulted of all
: these docu-soap-operas. Why shall I spend my precious time whatching such
: scrap?

Yeah, it's the same over here. Lot's of "scrap" on the TV, and nothing really worth watching...Though, I saw an early 90's movie with Gina Davis in the lead last night, "Cuthroat Island", some very cool wooden ships and a long boat in it.

: No, it´s one of the first Sony Trinitron models.

Sony Trinitron...oh. Gotta hand it to the Nijongin. Very industrious people. Polite to a fault.

The channel tuner has had
: it´s best days but I can use a video for tuning my three channels. The
: authorities are threatening with digital-tv now. And if my old set is
: useless then I´ll skip tv. It´s better with radio cause I can do other
: things while listening.

Ever hear of the radio show, "The Prarie Home Companion"? It's a variety show that airs on our National Public Radio. Good music, good comedy. Garison Keeler hosts, different musical guests weekly. They broadcast at different locations around the United States. Check it out on the web if you can...it gives you a good insight into Midwestern United States of American Culture, and some insight into "America the Beautiful" as a whole too. We're just like everyone else...we like to dance and sing and we love our kids.

: Thanks!

: Yes, I have thought of that but it doesn´t feel right. It will not look nice.

Skid strips...UGLY!!...on a strip boat especially. And I think one should always do what "feels right"...in boat building, and other things, but especially as it applies to boat building. In fact, if you are ever around someone who wants to push their ideas on you, you can always say, "Sorry, it just doesn't 'feel' right." And they would be obligated to back off.

: I have updated my site with some stuff too.

Yeah, I checked it out! I wasn't able to get a photograph of the "vattentata pasar a la OB" (sorry my computer's set for english, so no swedish punctuation). But I was very impressed with the "trasits till kajaken", and the "liten kajakvagn" are very ingenius...maybe a little too shy on the ground clearance for my boat though. Definately a problem going over the speed bumps in the parking lots.

: The keyring can be used as a badge too. Just make an autopsy on an old
: chrashed harddiskdrive. Inside you will find a very strong supermagnet
: used as regulator for the reading arm. Take them away and glue on the
: backside of the badge.

Hey, nice key ring. Now why didn't I think of that? Gee, maybe I can still make a couple of cool Christmas presents yet!
