Here is an updated photo for those who asked for progress. He has finished all the deck design and has glassed the deck. In all over 100 hours to inlay the patterns. In hindsight, I think he wishes that he took more time, since some of the inlays were not deep enough and he sanded through. Although patched in places, one can still see the mistakes. I think that as he went along, he wished it was going faster and became complacent with technique. That said, it still is great looking and one has to admire his dedication on this his first boat.
