Hello All,

I have purchased a couple of tins of this varnish for finishing my Merganser.

I have previously used it unthinned on the deck of my west river using faom brushes. I am of the opinion that a better finish can be achieved with thinning and good quality bristle brushes.

Firstly.
What can I use to thin it? What is in "Enamel Thiners No 1"?

Secondly
What are peoples views on the use of foam brushes?
I have had trouble with the brushes falling apart (small pieces of faom coming off into the finish). Any solutions?

Many Thanks
