HI Rob P, I have found the same points to be difficult to agree with. I concur the use of 5.70 and 4.80. I also found it difficult to locate the point at wich to make the break-away tops for the cockpit. I believe that they are on the bottem of the chart on page 54 for the Guillemot, makred Cockpit Offeset (8.32 out from center) and for Height (5.31 up from DWL) for form 8 and respectively for form 9 and 10. I could be wrong about this but it looks good to me. So far all others seem correct. But I have only lofted half of the forms and the cockpit and stern. I hit a snage on the lofting of the stern offsets, I wonder if you did too, or if it was just me? This "lofting" thing is a neat challenge. I made a kevlar canoe by the same means. It turned out great!! So why not a kayak?
At any rate, I except the challenge! I hope you continue as well.
